The Elevator Stop

You are in a typical elevator ride with a group of other people, suddenly a man says, "so, I bet you are wondering why I gathered you here," before hitting the emergency button.

There are 4 people in the elevator. The only man in the elevator introduces himself after stopping the elevator by pressing the emergency button.

'Hi, my name is Ziraa,' said the man. 'You 3 must be confused on why have I gathered you here. Maybe because I know something about you that you don't want the world to know.'

'WHAT THE HELL IS THIS' screamed Azila. 'You can't just stop the elevator for your stupid speech. As the HR head of this company, I demand that you will lose your job if you don't start the elevator again. '

'Whoa, whoa, whoa,' said Ziraa. 'You really think I still work here? I am here just for a job that has to be done, and yes. You are not the one who hired me. Actually, nobody hired me.'

'I am calling the security,' exclaimed Ahsae, the female security head of the company. While saying this, she took out a pocket knife from behind her belt and aimed the pointed head towards Ziraa.

"Azila, Call the security right now," demanded Ahsae while keeping the knife pointed towards Ziraa.

Azila started shouting. 'SECURITY! SECURITY. A MAN IS THREATENING US IN THE ELEVATOR. WE STU--- '

'Are you mad?' Interrupted Ahsae' The security cannot hear from the elevator, call them with your mobile phone. Where was your brai—'

Ziraa grabbed the knife from Ahsae's hand and jabbed it in the elevator buttons with a swift motion. A Spark came from the elevator buttons as soon as the knife slashed itself inside.

As a reflex, Ahsae tried to grab the knife, but before she could touch it, Muiram grabbed her hand and said, 'Don't touch it now. Otherwise, you will be electrocuted.'

'What? No, no, no, no', laughed Muiram.

'The only person I am going to hurt are those people who are responsible for Guyton's death,' Said Ziraa in a very serious and threatening tone.

The room suddenly went quiet.

'There are no signals in this elevator,' said Azila

Just as Azila finished her sentence, Ahsae kicked the shin of Muiram and then swung her elbow right at the face of Muiram.

Muiram left the hand of Ahsae that she was holding and fell back due to the impact.

Ahsae then went towards Ziraa to punch him. Ziraa stopped her hand. Ahsae threw another punch at Ziraa, which Ziraa grabbed and swung the whole body of Ahsae at the elevator wall.

Taking advantage of the moment, Azila took out a pepper spray and sprayed it at the eyes of Ziraa.

Ziraa collapsed on the floor while covering his eyes and screaming.

Ahsae took out the gun from her pocket and aimed at Ziraa to end this one and for all for self-defense.

As soon Ahsae could pull the trigger, Muiram kicked the gun and quickly got up.

Ahsae tried to aim at Muirum this time, but Muiram grabbed the gun to aim the gunpoint away from herself.

Both of them struggled to disarm the other and get hold of the gun.

Ahsae and Muiram both looked at her and realized that Azila was shocked.

Muiram let go of the gun and leaned back at the wall.

Ahsae took a moment and aimed at the head of Muiram.

Bang!, the fifth shot of the gun fired.

Muiram fell lifelessly at the floor.

At the opposite place, Azila fell slowly while holding her abdomen where she was shot.

Ziraa was almost blind right now because he cannot open his eyes. After all, the pepper spray was of very good quality.

Utilizing the moment Ahsae took the aim to Ziraa's head than BANG, She shot the last shot of her pistol.

After the moment tensed down, Ahsae looked at the blood and destruction everywhere.

Muiram and Ahsae were lying dead on the floor.

Azila was still alive but was very pale.

Ahsae came to her side and started comforting her and applied pressure to Azila's wound.

'Did they know about Guyton's dead?' whispered Azila.

'It doesn't matter now. Both of them are dead', replied Ahsae. 'I don't know why Muiram supported him. Did she also know?'

'Yes, Muiram knew about this.' said Azila, 'This is why I fired her.'

What, why? Asked Ahsae.

'We killed Guyton because he found out about our heist we made to steal $500 million of the company. Anyone would have done it to save himself. It was self-defense.' Said Ahsae confidently.

'The call was connected with the police on my mobile. I connected to 911 before you shot me.' Whispered Azila, 'You made a huge mistake while telling this to me.'

These were Azila's last words before she died.

Ahsae realized the humungous mistake she made.

'It's the police. We are going to start and open the elevator now. We heard shots being fired. Is everything alright? If you have the gun, drop it now; otherwise, the SWAT team will shoot you on sight.', A voice shouted from the outside.

Without thinking much, Ahsae aimed the gun at her head and fired.

Nothing happened. The gun was empty now.

Ahsae started crying. She didn't want to face the world as a criminal now. She cannot kill herself now as well because she was out of bullets.

Then Ahsae got an idea.

She grabbed the knife at the elevator circuit and started seizing.

No one knows what happened at the elevator. 3 people were shot by the head of the security's gun, and 1 electrocuted.

The phone got disconnected when the first shot was fired.

The same week the company realized that $500 million were stolen, and 5 of their employees dead.

At the chair, the CEO of the company was smoking his cigarette.

'I gave Ziraa and Muiram one work to expose the two thieves and murderers. Looks like I have to expose the 4 of them now and give this story you are reading to the press and media.'
